Brian, known as Sam to his friends, passed away on 29th May 2020, aged 63. A small, private family funeral will take place on the morning of 30th June at the Crematorium. This will be followed by an ‘Open Air Memorial Service’ at Barrowby Parish Council Burial Ground for the Interment of the Ashes. Due to the current strict government guidelines, this will be by invitation only. The family fully appreciate that there are a vast number of people in their lives who wish to pay their respect and say their goodbyes to Brian (Sam). The funeral car will be outside their home in Barrowby at 9am and they welcome you to line the road either in Barrowby or at the Crematorium. For those of you who wish to watch the 9:30am service at home, you will be able to access this via the link here : https://www.wesleymedia.co.uk/webcast-view Login / Order ID: 35649 Password: qbmagudq
The family are hoping to organise a ‘Celebration of Life’ centered around Sam’s love of golf at a later date for extended family and friends when restrictions have been relaxed a little. More details to follow. Please do not send flowers, however any donations received at the Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will go towards something fitting to remember Sam by – most likely incorporating his love of nature and the great outdoors.
