Death Notices / Obituary Notices

You might have seen the obituary notice section in your local paper. These notices are essentially a news article that notifies the reader about the recent death of a person, and is often accompanied by a description of the individual’s life.

An obituary notice is sometime referred to as an ‘announcement’.

For obituaries, there are two types of notices that are generally available:

  1. Death notice: This option leaves out biographical details, and in some circumstances may be a legally required public notice.
  2. Obituary: this type of listing is generally in a local paper and is often written by family members or close friends.

We can place announcements in both local and national newspapers for you.
